The property lies within some of the most majestic mountain scenery the Appalachians have to offer. The carefully crafted design embraces the beauty of the land: rugged rock outcroppings, teeming mountain streams, and lush deciduous vegetation. Extensive stormwater treatments including bio-filtration basins are implemented in the design to ensure that no harm is done to the existing mountain streams. The 1,800-acre site will harbor remarkable home sites on Phil Mickelson’s first mountain-designed course. The River Rock Golf Club will provide an unforgettable mountain golf experience full of dramatic golf shots and stunning views.
