DENVER, CO -   Denver-based Design Workshop has been selected by ZweigWhite as one of 2007’s top 25 architecture firms to work for.  Ranked number eight, Design Workshop is the only Colorado firm to make this year’s list of prestigious architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture firms.  The companies were selected based on their commitment to provide a positive work environment and challenging and interesting design opportunities for their employees.

Headquartered in Chicago, ZweigWhite is a leading source of business information for the design and construction industry, and ranks the top industry firms annually based on an intensive interview process of a firm’s employees.  Sixty three Design Workshop employees participated.

“We want to be known as a great employer and are delighted to be recognized as such.  We  help with graduate school, offer a housing loan program and have a commitment to continuing education for all staff. This year we brought all seven offices, 200 people, to Chicago for a week-long learning event we call Legacy Week. It helps us attract and retain the most talented people in the industry,” said Becky Zimmermann, President of Design Workshop.

Design Workshop is an award-winning, international firm practicing landscape architecture, land planning, urban design, and tourism planning. Design Workshop combines principles of smart growth, sustainable design, and environmentally-sound planning to reconcile economic needs with the preservation of scenic, cultural, and community values.
