Design Workshop of Asheville Announces Two New Associates

Asheville, NC – The Asheville office of Design Workshop has promoted two staff members as associates: Walt Cole and Drake Fowler. The announcement of the new positions was a result of peer and management recognition of ongoing achievement and leadership capability among the selected candidates.

Walt Cole is a landscape architect with a focus on sustainable design in built work including resorts, streetscapes, parks, corporate facilities and new communities. He has served as the Asheville office’s quality management leader and has been with Design Workshop for four years. Drake Fowler is a landscape architect who serves as the Asheville office’s operations manager and has been with the firm for four years. He is involved with the American Society of Landscape Architects in North Carolina where he is the current Mountain Section Chair.
