Denver, CO – The international landscape architecture and planning firm Design Workshop has decided to close its Santa Fe office this spring. "Closing this office was a tough decision – one that in the long term helps the firm improve its position in a national and international marketplace and one that is extremely difficult because of the individuals that it impacts,” said Rebecca Zimmermann, the firm’s president, in making the announcement. “We really appreciate the efforts of the people in this office and the opportunity to work in this community.” The office was established in 1998 in the Sanbusco area as part of the firm’s expansion throughout the West, when it acquired Campbell Okuma Perkins Associates (COPA). Design Workshop will continue to work in Santa Fe and New Mexico from their offices located in Arizona, Colorado and Texas.
