Principals
Peter Adams, the Legacy Economics Forum Leader, has been with Design Workshop since 1996 leading the firm’s development of technological solutions through a team of IT professionals. Peter gained his MBA from Regis University in 2006, becoming a Principal of the firm shortly thereafter. He has been very involved in planning and executing past Legacy Weeks, developing and training staff in project management tools and in developing and implementing Legacy metrics throughout the firm. |

Pam Britton, Legacy Community Forum Leader, came to the firm in 2001 as the leader of the firm’s learning programs. She has a degree in Organizational Communications and a master’s in Human Resource Training and Development. Pam has led development of Design University, she has been the architect of our past Legacy Weeks and is an accomplished community, team and public process facilitator. Her recent/current projects include the Vail Community Vision Plan, Breckenridge Downtown Streetscape, Aspen Area Community Plan, Bull Springs, and Beaver Creek. |

Eliot Hoyt has served as a real estate research market analyst and project manager in the Denver office since March 2004, and brings many perspectives to bear on every new project with his project management skills, abilities as an interpreter of complex content, and sales experience as a commercial art gallery director in New York City. Eliot has a B.A. from Harvard University, magna cum laude, and an M.B.A. from the University of Colorado at Denver. |

Bill Kane has over 30 years of experience in planning and design for mountain resort communities. Much of his career has been focused in Aspen, Colorado, where he has served as planning director, vice president of Aspen Skiing Company and principal of Design Workshop. At the Aspen Skiing Company, Bill was responsible for planning, permitting and capital budgeting for the four Aspen area mountains. His education, work history and life experiences make him expert in private and public planning for all of the physical and programmatic elements which define mountain resort design. |

Rebecca Leonard has outstanding experience in the areas of community planning, urban design, redevelopment, tourism planning, regional planning, and site design. Rebecca is a graduate of the Ball State University College of Architecture and Planning where she received her master’s degree in urban and regional planning. She focuses on projects that represent the heart of the community. Through her strategic initiative, she integrates in-depth knowledge of the area’s environment, community and economy with strong physical design and public spaces. Rebecca is currently working on projects for the firm and business development opportunities from Austin, Texas. |

Steve Noll has been practicing landscape architecture since graduating from California Polytechnical San Luis Obispo, California in 1983. As Principal of the Tahoe office, Steve has been fortunate to be involved with several land planning and site design projects that have reshaped and helped define the surrounding communities. In addition, he is involved with many community-based organizations where he provides guidance in areas of mixed-use planning, recreation and design planning, multi-family, affordable housing, and resort design. |

Todd Schoeder, a Principal and lead golf architect with Design Workshop, joined the firm in 2000, following six years with Fought – Lehman Design in Portland, Oregon and five years with Wadsworth Golf Construction in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His professional experiences have provided him with a broad range of expertise, allowing him to work on golf course projects across the United States and internationally. |

Gyles Thornely is a landscape architect involved in the areas of community master planning, urban design, brownfields, infill redevelopment, tourism planning, and site design. Until recently, Gyles has served as the operations manager for the Aspen office. He is a graduate of Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland, where he received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in landscape architecture. His previous experience includes work for a land planning and landscape architecture firm in Atlanta, Georgia that focuses on resort and Olympic venue master planning. |

Chuck Ware is recognized as an expert in landscape architectural implementation practices and received his Master of Landscape Architecture in Urban Design from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Focusing on master planning and design implementation, Chuck leads all aspects of complex interdisciplinary project work. He recently authored a manual “Design and Documentation Standards and Best Practices” for landscape architects. |

Todd Wenskoski joined the practice in 1997 and rejoined in 2002 after completing his graduate degree in Landscape Architecture and Urban Design from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. His graduate studies and his unique experience as an exhibit designer for the renowned Larson Company have enhanced his abilities as a leader in the integration of architecture, public spaces, parks, and open-space systems. Todd was an integral part of the Riverfront Commons urban design effort and the development of urban design solutions and public plazas for the 16th Street Mall extension, both of which are in downtown Denver; and the design for Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona, creating an engaging civic gathering space. |
