Northstar-at-Tahoe Master PlanPlacer County, California Client: East West Partners, Booth Creek Ski Holdings East West Partners in joint venture partnership with Booth Creek Ski Holdings, engaged Design Workshop to develop a master plan for the existing resort of Northstar-at-Tahoe. Design Workshop’s role began with conducting due diligence. Throughout the process, Design Workshop was responsible for land use planning, entitlements, ski area planning, public participation facilitation, and team management. Design guidelines provide a sustainable framework for this new community of neighborhoods and a village center that are transforming the ski area and Lake Tahoe into an inspiring destination resort and are providing an invigorating vacation experience.
