Design Reviews

Design reviews are a critical part of the Design Workshop's design and quality management process. A design review is a gathering of individuals focused on critiquing an idea, plan or thought for the improvement and advancement of a project. They are the forum in which a project team can seek objective and critical points of view that keep the project on course and make it accountable to Legacy Design principles and goals. In addition to improving the quality of the design content, design reviews are opportunities for teams to practice telling the story of the project in order to better communicate design ideas to clients and communities. Design reviews are a microcosm of the community of critical thinkers that make up our workshop. They epitomize the principles of Legacy Design, which are to be comprehensive in four categories, inclusive of the range of ideas, experiences and knowledge of all team members and collaborators; transparent in our decision-making processes, and accountable to Legacy goals and metrics from beginning to end.
