Tahoe City Marina Expansion Master Plan

The Tahoe City Marina and related retail establishments have long been the center of activity in the North Lake Tahoe community. In order to accommodate the growth in boating and tourism within the area, the Marina has embarked on a two-phase marina expansion. When complete, the marina expansion will provide several opportunities for public access to and from the Lake and safe harbor for an additional 180 vessels.

Design Workshop, as lead planners, provided complete master planning and site design services, facilitated a series of public workshops and steering committee meetings, and developed the final master plan report. Since the project is located within the Tahoe Basin, the design solution provides several methods for maintaining environmental and scenic quality while providing the physical improvements necessary for the expansion.
