Following a comprehensive streetscape re-design, Design Workshop was also retained to design a comprehensive civic wayfinding sign program focused on downtown Glenwood Springs. The program replaces an outdated existing system that was under-scaled for cars. Signs combine design cues and colors from local architecture and the railroad to create a sophisticated and clear system that directs residents and visitors to major destinations, historic features and community amenities.
