DENVER — Design Workshop, an international landscape architecture, planning, and urban design firm, announced today they have been awarded with the Denver Business Journal Partner’s in Philanthropy Award in recognition of its commitment to community impact and service. This year, 12 nonprofits and 12 for-profit organizations in the Denver metro area were honored at a luncheon on October 9, 2025.

“Community service isn’t extracurricular at Design Workshop — it’s embedded in our business model,” shares Robb Berg, president of Design Workshop. “Whether restoring natural landscapes, mentoring students or advocating for equitable public spaces, our team members are empowered to lead with purpose and act with impact. This culture of service is more than tradition, it’s a living expression of the belief that design is a catalyst for meaningful, lasting change.”

The annual Denver Business Journal Partners in Philanthropy Awards highlight community service and corporate giving, recognizing organizations and individuals that strengthen Denver’s nonprofit community.

“We are honored to be among such an esteemed group of organizations that prioritize giving back to the communities where we live and work,” added Berg. “Our impact is stronger together.”

Design Workshop prioritizes philanthropic endeavors that deliver results, honor cultural heritage and address historical inequities. Through the support of the Design Workshop Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, along with its extensive financial support of nonprofit organizations, the firm integrates community impact into all it does.
