Environmental Graphic Design
Houston Arboretum & Nature Center
Houston, Texas
Design Workshop teamed with Leslie Elkins and Main Street to enliven the Houston Arboretum, where environmental graphic design played an integral role. Visitors are greeted by an iconic wall with four artist-designed stainless-steel panels, depicting each of the Arboretum's distinct landscape types. Wayfinding signage aids navigation, while additional signs educate visitors on local flora and fauna. The boardwalk features circular steel inlays that recognize donors, all contributing to a more engaging destination.
