Designing a stunning outdoor experience for ideally located residences and hotel

The challenge presented to Design Workshop by the developer was to create special places for the public realm around the gondola and ultra private proprietary spaces for the hotel/residences. The Residences at The Little Nell provides residents and visitors with a mix of hotel and residential units with a retail promenade, dining el fresco terrace, gondola plaza, outdoor courtyard, fire pits, private ski in/out terraces, spa, garden and rooftop sun deck with swimming pool and water garden designed by Design Workshop. More than 75 percent of outdoor amenities are on structure conditions over parking garages or residential units. The highly acclaimed rooftop pool and water garden is designed with curving stone walls and multiple seating areas, providing both privacy and a spectacular space to socialize with a stunning 360-degree view.
